## How it works

When a customer pays with a credit card, a 3% surcharge is added to their transaction — the business pays nothing. When a customer pays with a debit card, the business pays 1.5% + $0.25. Customers always have the option to pay with debit to avoid the surcharge. Nadapayments handles all compliance requirements including card brand notifications, compliant signage, and automatic debit card detection.
